Add candidates to positions, upload resumes for context-aware interviews, and generate shareable links for reference collection.
You can add candidates from several places in Reffem:
Click Add Candidate on any position card to add a candidate directly to that role. This is the quickest way when you know which position the candidate is applying for.
Click New Candidate to create a candidate record first, then assign them to positions later. Useful when a candidate might be considered for multiple roles.
Click Create Reference Check to add a candidate and position in one flow. Perfect for quickly initiating a new reference check.

Uploading a candidate's resume significantly improves the quality of reference interviews. The AI uses resume details to ask more targeted, context-aware questions.
When you upload a resume, Reffem's AI extracts and analyzes:
With resume context, the AI can ask references about specific projects, skills, or roles mentioned in the resume. This leads to more detailed and relevant feedback.
Maximum file size: 5MB
Each candidate receives a unique link to submit their references. This link is how the reference collection process begins.
When you add a candidate to a position, a unique reference link is automatically generated. Each link is specific to one candidate and one position.
You have two options for sharing the link:
Links can have an optional expiration date. This is useful for time-sensitive hiring or when you want to set a deadline for candidates to submit their references.
When a candidate clicks their reference link, they see a branded landing page where they can submit their references:
Reference Information Form
Name, phone number, email, and relationship to candidate
Consent Collection
Each reference gives consent to receive an AI-powered call and be recorded
Progress Tracking
Candidates can see how many references they have submitted vs. required
A single candidate can be assigned to multiple positions. This is useful when:
Each candidate-position combination creates a separate reference check. References may need to complete multiple interviews if the candidate is being considered for different roles with different questions.
